DOE readies clean energy tech
for market
The US Department of Energy has
budgeted up to $7 million to seven of its national laboratories
for clean energy technology commercialization. The money will be used
for prototypes, demonstration projects and market research.
Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will each get
up to $1.5 million; Argonne National Laboratory and Sandia National
Laboratory will each get up to $700,000; Los Alamos National Laboratory
will get up to $600,000; and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
will get up to $500,000.
