Feds release biofuels action plan

The US Department of Agriculture and Department of Energy have released the National Biofuels Action Plan, an interagency blueprint for boosting the nation's production and use of biofuels.

The plan spans research through commercialization of cellulosic biofuels, and organizes interagency working groups focused on sustainability; feedstock production; feedstock logistics; conversion science and technology; distribution infrastructure; blending; and environment, health and safety.
