Molecular junctions study funded
The National Science Foundation has
awarded
the University of Michigan's Pramod
Sangi Reddy $403,138 to study the thermal and electronics properties
of molecular junctions.
The project, Heat and Charge Transport in Metal-Molecule-Metal
Junctions, aims to detail the thermal and electronic conductance of
molecules sandwiched between metal electrodes. The work could lead
to more efficient thermoelectric materials and solar cells.
