Wind, NREL get stimulus money
The Department of Energy has allocated $93 million from
the stimulus package to wind energy projects, including $24 million
for wind research and development.
Separately, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory will
receive $100 million of the stimulus money. Most of the funds will
go to construction of an energy efficient office building that will
serve as a template for future buildings.
